CWRU Art Gallery's special exhibit showcases impact of African culture on the arts - Georgio Sabino III

CLEVELAND — Case Western Reserve University Art Studio Gallery is featuring a special exhibit showcasing the impact of African culture on the arts today. 

The “African American Alumni Art Exhibition” features CWRU Art Education alumni including Anna Arnold, Gina Brent, Danny Carver, Napoleon Dismuke, Sandra Noble, Georgio Sabino, Jerome White, Tucker White and Travis Williams.

The exhibit showcases a selection of paintings, drawings, photographs masks, crafts and other unique pieces. 

 

The exhibit made its debut Saturday and will remain on display until March 6. The Gallery, located at 2215 Adelbert Rd. in Cleveland, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
