Shaker Heights residents can enjoy a free public art exhibit along Chagrin Boulevard this September and October.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A free public art exhibit will be mounted along Chagrin Boulevard starting in September.
The exhibit is the work of the Shaker Arts Council and its Imagine Chagrin project. Local businesses will allow their storefront windows to be filled with art from local artists. The exhibit will run Sept. 10 through Oct. 8, 2021.
Businesses on Chagrin, between Lee and Avalon roads, will participate in the exhibit. The following businesses will take part in the exhibit:
- Master Marr’s Taekwondo,
- Shaker Heights Animal Hospital,
- Africa Art and Clothes,
- Chagrin Wine & Beverage Co,
- Diamond's Men's Store,
- Brown-Forward Funeral Home,
- A Touch of Italy,
- Faithfully Fit Fitness,
- Gomez Shoe Repair,
- Reclamation,
- Shaker Jazzy Clips,
- Shaker Heights Nutrition,
- Shaker Upper Crust,
- Strive Mental Health and Wellness, and
- 3-19 Coffee.
The following artists will be exhibiting work during the show: Anna Hsu, Fatima Matar, Ewuresi Archer, Meryl Engler, Christina Eagleeye-Wilson, Tristan Hearn, Mata Ziegler, Tai Gomez-Curtain, Louisa Scott, 3Dink - Daija Davis, Georgio Sabino III, Alicia Vasquez, Jacqueline Kahane Freedman, R&B-Studio216 - Bonnie Venable, and Allison Wooley.
